This ground floor, 1-bedroom apartment on the edge of Milan’s Naviglio Grande canal offers contemporary loft-style living in the most romantic neighborhood in the city. While not as extensive, the canals of Navigli have often been compared to those of Venice, which is a 3-hour drive to the east. Lively by day, the neighborhood is a mecca for tourists and locals alike. It’s steeped in history, bustling with Milanese artists showcasing their works and lined with great little osterias where you can grab a bite to eat. Living in the area, you can witness idyllic sunsets every night, hop on the metro to visit shops and catch various events or, with a 30-minute walk, discover what’s happening downtown.
