On the second floor of a historic building, this studio apartment on Via Giovanni Rasori features contemporary, fun and colorful decor. Walking through the front door, you first enter the fully equipped kitchen area. Almost everything else you need to prepare and eat a meal is available. To the left of the door is a dining nook with a glass table and three seats. You’ll find plenty of storage space for both food items (in the cabinets) and clothing (in the walk-in wardrobe). There is also a modern bathroom with a shower stall on this level, and a living room furnished with a sofa, chair and flat-screen TV is hidden behind the staircase. A large window with a view of the garden lights up the space and a staircase leads to the mezzanine loft, where there is a double bed and a single bed.
Pagano is only about 30 minutes on foot from the center of Milan, and you’ll definitely want to make that walk along Corso Vercelli and Corso Magenta just so that you can get lost on the little streets in between. There are plenty of shopping opportunities along the way, and a few quaint cafés and restaurants as well. Don’t limit yourself to downtown, though. In your own neighborhood, you’ll find the Triennale Museum of Design just 15 minutes away—and the fascinating Da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology is even closer than that. There is also a cinema nearby, and the Wagner Municipal Market is just 7 minutes away.
