This 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Calle Almez is cute, affordable and close to everything. Entering the front door, you step into a cozy living room with a sofa, coffee table and a small stereo. There are a few decorative touches that makes the space fit in with the Moorish tourist spots in the area. The bathroom has a tub and is a good size, and the kitchen is equipped and fairly spacious too. This is a ground floor space, with views to the interior patio, which you can enjoy any time. There is also an upstairs terrace with tables and chairs, and a laundry facility, both of which are shared with other tenants in this residential building.

Granada is simply a beautiful city, and Albaicín is an ideal neighborhood to live in. There are gorgeous winding alleys just outside your door, and the surrounding block is fairly quiet. However, a few paces beyond, you’ll hit the pulse of city life. Downtown is merely a 10-minute walk and you’ll find plenty of cafés, restaurants and bars to call your own. If you love to be in the heart of history, then you’re in luck, because this neighborhood is filled with museums, ruins and palaces, and the famed Alhambra is a mere 30-minute walk away.

What we liked the most

  • The Moorish decor is really cool, and makes the cozy space come to life.
  • Since the apartment is in a residential building, you get access to a laundry facility, as well as a patio outside your door and a terrace on the upper level.
  • All the best downtown restaurants and bars are only 10 minutes way on foot.
  • Everywhere you turn, you’ll uncover a little piece of history, and all the major historical sites can be reached easily by foot or transit.

  • With an 8-minute walk, you can get to Calle Gran Vía de Colón, which is well served by multiple day and night bus routes.
  • The Granada railway station is at the distance of a 20-minute walk. Taking a taxi or other public transportation will be more comfortable, but it will take just as long.
