Spotahome's opinion
You can choose to take the stairs or use the elevator to get to your 2nd floor studio apartment to rent on Via Rasella. It’s a fantastic little open-concept space with a staircase leading to your bedroom in the mezzanine. The living area is cozy, but it has a built-in wardrobe and is furnished with a sofa bed, a lovely chest of drawers and a table for 2. A window in the kitchenette brightens up the entire space. The kitchen itself is compact, but equipped with a fridge, gas stove and microwave, as well as dishes and cookware. The bathroom, which has a shower and cabinet space, is also located on this floor.
Anyone would be lucky to get an apartment in Centro Storico, and although not directly on the tourist path, your studio is located close to all the major sights you could want to visit in Rome. It’s also a fabulous area to live in, because there are dozens of restaurants and bars close by. In fact, you could have dinner near Piazza Barberini, just 4 minutes away, and then spend an evening at Teatro Sistina music hall or Gregory’s Jazz Club, and still only have to walk 4 minutes to get home. Shopping is easy, since there is a market just up the street, and there is a nearby bank and a pharmacy too.
What we liked the most
- The mezzanine is spacious and it has an extra closet for storage.
- The neighborhood is just about as central as it gets in Rome.
- There is a nearby market, but you won’t want to miss out on all the fantastic Italian restaurants within a 10-minute walk.
- You can check out the live music at the nearby jazz club, or hop on the metro to discover other genres at different venues in Rome.
