This compact studio apartment located on Via Carlo Villa, in the Cinisello Balsamo, is perfect for a professional tenant or a couple who want the convenience of being close to the city while remaining outside of it. The open-concept area doubles as living room and bedroom. A day bed, built into a large wardrobe, can be used as a sofa or turned into a double bed to accommodate couples, while a trendy chair can unfold into a single bed. Even the fridge is hidden within the wardrobe!
You’ll find plenty of storage space and an equipped kitchen with everything you need, including a washing machine. There is a small dining table for four near the window and, next to it, a door leading to a balcony that overlooks the neighborhood.
Cinisello Balsamo is a residential municipality located in the northeast of Milan. Without the bustle of tourists, this is a great place to immerse in the regional Lombardy culture, and maybe even learn Italian quicker than you would in the city, which can be reached by car in a half hour. Still, with a 2-minute walk you can explore the cafés and restaurants on Via Giuseppe Garibaldi, and shopping is made easy with a Lidl just around the corner. There are several historical sites dating to the 16th century, but if you’re a fan of car racing, you’ll want to head to Monza Park, where the Formula One Italian Grand Prix is held. Even if you’re not a fan, you can still enjoy this walled park that dates back to 1808.
What we liked the most
- With the balcony on the 7th floor, you get a great view of the neighborhood.
- The studio is located in a quiet residential area, so you should get plenty of sleep!
- The Milan downtown can be reached easily by car within 30 minutes, and the apartment does include parking.
- The F1 Italian Grand Prix is held at the nearby Monza Park.
