Ideal for postgraduates and workers, this 2nd floor 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Via Bartolomeo Panizza is a colorful space. Directly in front of the door is the corridor leading to the charming bedroom and bathroom, equipped with a washing machine and shower stall. When you turn right, you’ll enter the combined living and dining room. The hall has some charming rustic pieces to make you feel right at home, and the living space, which has a tall window, is furnished with a sofa, a shelving unit and table with 2 chairs. The equipped kitchen also has a tall window and gets ample light, plus another 2-seat table, and comes with a gas stove, oven, fridge, and dishwasher.
Washington is only a 30-minute walk from downtown, which means you’re pretty close to all the action. Then again, there is a lot of action right around your apartment. Along Corso Vercelli, which is 4 minutes away, you’ll find the Multisala Gloria cinema, as well as a number of boutiques like Victoria’s Secret and Benetton. If you enjoy the gym, you might think about joining Urban Fitness, which is a 7-minute walk away. You won’t go hungry, either: there are several restaurants, cafés, and at least two gelatarias around the block, and you can pick up some of your groceries at a hypermarket just 10 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- Large windows throughout the apartment mean you get plenty of natural light.
- There are some terrific brand-name boutiques and stores located within a few minutes' walk.
- Around every corner are great cafés and restaurants.
- You can reach the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart by foot in less than 20 minutes.
