Rooms are available for rent in this 3-bedroom apartment shared with the live-in landlord in Chueca. The apartment has a kitchen with a small dining table, plenty of storage space, and an electric stove. It also includes a washing machine. The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, and a toilet.
Chueca is, along with its neighbour Malasaña, one of the coolest districts of Madrid, and you will be living in the heart of it. Known for being very gay friendly, here you will find some of the best nightlife in the city, along with hundreds of cool bars, tabernas, restaurants and cafes. You will be just a minute's walk from Calle de Fuencarral, one of the cities most famous shopping streets, and a few minutes from Calle Gran Via, the main artery through the centre of the city. A great deal of Madrid is within close walking distance from the apartment, including Retiro Park, which is about 15 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- The artwork in bedroom one is a nice touch.
- There are myriad bars, restaurants and cafes nearby.
- So much of Madrid is just a short walk away, including Gran Via, Sol, and Retiro.
- Transport options to take you further afield are fantastic.
Things to keep in mind
- The kitchen does not have an oven, but it does have a microwave and an electric stove.
- Natural light for bedroom 1 comes from a window that looks into bedroom 2.
- There is no living room.
