Spotahome's opinion

This 4-bedroom flat with rooms to rent on Ben Jonson Road is close to Queen Mary University. The entrance hallway is a little cluttered since it’s used for storage, but otherwise it’s a spacious home. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washing machine. There is more than enough cupboard space to store items, and counter space to cook even when another tenant is using the area. This is the only common area to socialize in, and it’s furnished with a small table and chairs. On the second floor you’ll find the shared toilet room and a separate bathroom with a tub, which is also a shared space.

Tower Hamlets is a rather large area, but your new home is located in a prime spot. You’re a 10-minute walk from Queen Mary University. Mile End Park Leisure Centre and Stadium is only 7 minutes away. There is a theater, jazz and live music venue within a 10-minute walk, and tons of pubs and restaurants nearby too. You aren’t far from anything living here. There is a post office around the corner. There is a pharmacy down the street. And there is a Halal food store, as well as a Costcutter within a minute from your door. For larger grocery needs, there is a Tesco Express located 10 minutes away, just beyond The Queen’s Head, which is a classic pub.

What we liked the most

  • The flat is sunny, and there is a very roomy shared kitchen with a washing machine.
  • From sports to theater, there are a lot of nearby parks and activities to keep you entertained.
  • If you’re a student, you can easily sleep in and get to class on time without running!
  • There are dozens of pubs and restaurants close by.
