This 1-bedroom flat for rent on Northumberland Road is on the top floor of a quaint brick house. You’ll enter into a short hallway with a door to the left, which leads to the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. The one-wall kitchen is narrow, but it’s modern, fully equipped, and part of the larger space, which is furnished with a 2-seat glass dining table, gorgeous sofa and flat screen TV. The room has a very large window, so you get a ton of natural light, as well as a street view. Back in the hallway there are 2 more doors. One leads to the cozy bedroom, furnished with a double bed, night tables and a chest of drawers, and the other door opens to a roomy bathroom with shower stall.
Ballsbridge is an upscale neighborhood that’s close to the city center. Your flat is located in a residential part of the neighborhood, and the street seems fairly quiet and peaceful. However, you’re likely to hear some action on game nights since Aviva Stadium, home to the Republic of Ireland National rugby and football teams, is just 12 minutes away. When you feel like getting a bit of culture, there are 3 museums, along with the National Library, can be reached in 15 minutes. Whether a 4-minute walk down the street or 15 minutes to River Liffey, you’ll find supermarkets and restaurants, and, this being Dublin, you’ll also find your next favorite local pub in no time!
What we liked the most
- Everything in the flat seems fresh and new, and while it has a modern look to it, the atmosphere is relaxing.
- Rugby and football fans will love being so close to the Aviva Stadium.
- The gorgeous Herbert Park is only a 14-minute walk south of your flat.
- There are 2 supermarkets, a deli, restaurants and pubs just 4 minutes away.
