The first thing you’ll notice walking into this 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Avenue Louise is the great natural light. It’s a corner apartment, and the open-plan kitchen, living and dining room is surrounded by seven tall windows. It definitely gives the space an airy feel. There is a 6-seat dining table where you can enjoy your meals, and afterwards relax into the sofa bed and chairs to socialize or watch TV. While the fully-equipped kitchen is part of the space, it is set apart by a low wall that breaks up the space. A hallway leads to a modern toilet room that guests can access. Both bedrooms have full ensuite bathrooms, double beds, and are spacious, as well as relaxing.

In Saint Gilles you’re an 8-minute public transportation ride from downtown Brussels. However, on a nice day you can walk there within a half hour. Your new home is located close to a number of historical and popular sights. Porte de Hal is 10 minutes away and Egmont Palace is also a 10-minute walk out. The Galeria Inno Louise department store is a few minutes away, and there are also numerous shops like Zara and Louis Vuitton nearby. In fact, there are more shops and boutiques than restaurants, although you’ll still find some great spots to eat.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment gets a huge amount of natural light and both bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.
  • An 8-minute walk will get you to the Cinema Ugc Toison d'Or, where you can catch a movie.
  • Delhaize Flagey supermarket is a 20-minute walk away.
  • There is a gym and a health club within 250 meters of your new home.
