Spotahome's opinion
This cute 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Stahlheimerstrasse opens into a small hall from where you can access every room. The bedroom is small but comfortable, with a double bed built into the space and a window overlooking a quiet interior courtyard. The living room is nicely decorated with some quirky touches and a fantastic little covered balcony with a table and 2 chairs. The kitchen is cozy but has all the appliances you need, including a gas stove and a dishwasher, and even has space for a 3-seat table by the window.
Prenzlauer Berg is a popular district among artists and students, which explains the liveliness of the local nightlife. You won’t have trouble finding a favorite pub or restaurants, and the area is dotted with art galleries and small stores. There’s a movie theater less than 5 minutes from your apartment, and also plenty of green spaces. The Humannplatz city park, for example, is right outside your door. You won’t have to look far to do your shopping either, with a Lidl supermarket 5 minutes out and a pharmacy right around the corner.
What we liked the most
- The cute balcony overlooking the courtyard is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast al fresco.
- There is an extra folding bed in the living room. You never know when you're going to have guests!
- The area is super well connected by public transportation.
- You won't have to walk more than 1 city block to find an Indian restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a bakery, an ice-cream parlor...
