Rooms are available to let in this lovely 2-bedroom apartment in Poblenou, close to Avenida Diagonal and a 10 minute stroll along the street to the beautiful sandy beach. It's a shared apartment as the landlady's relative lives there. It has a living room with a window overlooking the street which lets in a lot of light. There's also a sofa, dining table. TV and TV stand with a lot of storage space. It's a good-sized kitchen with an oven, gas stove and microwave to cook meals as well as a coffee machine and large fridge/freezer. The modern bathroom has a walk-in shower. This is a well-decorated, lovely home in Barcelona.

It's just a 2-minute walk to Avinguda Diagonal which is lined with shops and restaurants. There's also superb transport links from here to the city centre. Over the other side of the Avinguda is Poblenou park to provide a peaceful, green space for a walk. There's a supermarket less than 1 minute down Carrer D'Espronceda along with other shops. Near the apartment is a little cafe-bar to grab a coffee on your way to university or work. Also, behind the apartment are several parking lots, which is very handy if you want to bring a car or hire one.

What we liked the most

  • The large windows let in a lot of natural light.
  • The property is very close to the beach!
  • Many bars and restaurants are nearby, making this a great place for young people and students!

Things to keep in mind

  • The apartment is on the 3rd floor without an elevator.
