This sensational 1-bedroom apartment is available to rent on Carrer de Còrsega in Barcelona's Eixample Esquerra neighborhood. If sitting outside in the sun, enjoying long al fresco lunches and soaking in a hot tub while gazing up at the stars appeals to you, you're in luck—this pad has not 1 but 2 huge roof terraces, where you can find an outdoor shower, barbecue, table and chairs, a hot tub, and 360º views of the city.
Inside, there's a contemporary living room with wood floors, a bright kitchen with modern appliances, a very sunny double bedroom with a study area, and a stylish ensuite bathroom with blue mosaic tiles.
The Eixample is a very vibrant place to live and is full of places to eat, nightlife spots, independent shops and so on, as well as everyday amenities like supermarkets and gyms. You're also just a short walk from the Gràcia area which is full of plazas where you can sit out and have a drink. Transport is great too, with metro and local rail services within a few minutes' walk.
What we liked the most
- The roof terraces—paradise when summer comes. Barbecues, drinks with friends, lying in the hot tub while looking up at the summer night sky...
- If you ever manage to drag yourself inside, the rest of the apartment is pretty impressive too, with modern, stylish decor and lots of space and light.
- The bedroom is huge and has a study space—ideal if you work from home.
- The kitchen has nifty appliances including a microwave.
- We love the blue mosaic tiles in the bathroom.
