This 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Wandy has a sizeable entrance hall with a wardrobe for clothes and another for shoes. At the end of the hall, to the left, is the combined living and dining room. It’s a cozy, comfortable space with a sofa, large TV and 4-seat dining table. You also get access to a balcony from here, which is a lovely spot for a coffee or glass of wine in the summer. On the right side of the main hall, you’ll find the bathroom, which has a shower and washing machine. The bedroom is spacious and has a TV, bookshelf, desk, large wardrobe and sunny window. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a dishwasher, ample cupboard and counter space, and a 2-seat table close to a large bright window.
Your new home is just minutes away from the Vistula River in Saska Kępa. The neighborhood has many modernist buildings that survived World War II. Architecture and history buffs will adore strolling the streets to discover small and interesting details of the buildings, or view monuments like the Pomnik Obelisk. It’s also an area with lots of green space. Skaryszewski Park is the largest in the city and it’s just a 20-minute walk away. It’s more recently becoming a hotspot for a diverse range of cuisines, too. You’ll find Turkish, Greek, Mediterranean and Thai food within 10 minutes. When you feel like a home-cooked meal, you can drop into one of three nearby grocery stores, including a Carrefour Express, which is 5 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is modern and cute, and you can enjoy the balcony on nice days.
- You’re just minutes away from a diverse range of restaurants.
- You can attend football games and other events at the National Stadium, PGE Narodowy, which is a 20-minute walk away.
- There is a bowling alley just 14 minutes away, and a community center just 4 minutes away.
Things to keep in mind
- The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a building without an elevator.
- While this apartment block can get noisy in the afternoons, it's a quiet residence at night.
