When you walk into this studio apartment to rent on Via Fra Mauro you enter directly into the kitchen. It’s actually more of a kitchenette. It doesn’t have a lot of cupboard space, but there is enough counter space to whip up a meal, it is fully equipped, and it includes a washing machine. The bathroom is modern, has a shower stall and is the only enclosed room. The rest of the area is bright and airy. There are parquet floors and there is a large window allowing tons of light to spill into the studio. The rest of this studio is furnished with a large and comfy double bed, a TV and stand, as well as a 2-seat dining table where you can enjoy a meal.
Pigneto is a fairly large and spread out neighborhood to the southeast of downtown Rome. The area is well connected by train and transit, and you can easily get to the city center in around 24 minutes. A former working class area, Pigneto is quickly becoming a trendy area. Within an 8-minute walk, you’ll uncover restaurants and plenty of bars. For entertainment, the Central Preneste Theater is only a 4-minute walk away, and the Cineclub Alphaville movie theater is even closer. While there's a Conad City supermarket right outside the Pigneto Metro station, there is also a grocery store just 3 minutes from your door.
What we liked the most
- The studio isn’t very large, but it is bright and has gorgeous parquet floors and a comfy atmosphere you can relax in.
- Night owls will enjoy being surrounded by a number of cocktail lounges and bars.
- You can have a low key night of entertainment by catching a movie at the nearby cinema.
- There are a number of nearby supermarkets where you can pick up groceries.
