Spotahome's opinion

This 4-bedroom apartment is perfect for female students or working professionals. You won’t have to stick to your bedroom living here, because there are a couple of spacious and comfortable common areas. As soon as you enter your new home, you’ll notice the large living area. The room gets plenty of natural light from the tall windows, which lead to a long balcony overlooking the street. One part of the room is furnished with a coffee table surrounded by a sectional sofa and a couple of chairs. The other half of the room has a 6-seat dining table and buffet with drawers. The kitchen is equally large. It’s also fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, a washing machine and an additional table. There are two shared bathrooms. One has a shower and a small tub, and the other has a bathtub.

If you’re a student attending the University of International Studies of Rome, Garbatella is the perfect neighborhood. Your room for rent is just a 10-minute walk away. Working professionals will love this spot too. It’s a 30-minute Metro ride to the center of the city, and well connected to many other neighborhoods. It’s also a terrific place to escape the bustle of urban living. Park Scott is just up the road, and the significantly larger Caffarella Park is a bird watcher and bicycle riders dream. There are a few catacombs and other historical sites nearby, and for a night out you can check out Ambra Garbatella theater just 15 minutes away. There are also a couple of cinemas within a 20-minute bus ride.

What we liked the most

  • The kitchen is fairly spacious, and having access to a large balcony is perfect for entertaining a friend or two during the summer.
  • There is a grocery store is a 3-minute walk around the corner on Via Cornelio Magni.
  • Within a 10-minute walk, you’ll find a pizzeria, pharmacy, banks and a couple of bars.
  • The University Roma Tre isn’t too far. You can get to the main campus and its various schools with a 20 to 25-minute public transportation ride.
