The room to rent in this 7th floor 2-bedroom apartment on Via Libero Leonardi is perfect for female students. Although it’s being called a room, the actual space is large and feels more like a studio than a bedroom, which is even better. There is a balcony that stretches from the bedroom and can also be accessed from the kitchen, which is fully equipped and to be shared with the landlady who lives on the property. The landlady is currently in the process of having an en-suite bathroom added to her room, which means you will have your own private-use bathroom.
If you’re a student or a fan of television and movies, you’ll love Cinecittà. Your apartment is located in a fairly quiet residential part of the neighborhood, but it’s only a 20-minute bus ride to Cinecittà Studios, which is the largest television and film production facility in Europe. Additionally, It might take roughly 20 minutes to walk to the University of Rome Tor Vergata campus, but you can be there in half that time if you hop on the bus. With the school nearby, you’ll find plenty of student restaurant and nightclub hangouts, and there are bakeries and supermarkets within a 10-minute walk from your door.
What we liked the most
- Access to a balcony is a wonderful feature, but the room for rent is also great because it’s like a self-contained unit, although the kitchen is shared.
- It’s great to have the option of walking to the University of Rome II main campus, but more convenient that there is a bus nearby that can get your there in less time.
- There is a small fruit and vegetable market close to the apartment, and larger supermarkets within a 10-minute walk.
- Film history fans, writers and poets will love the romance and excitement of living near the famous Cinecittà Studios.
