A bedroom with a double bed is available to rent in this 2-bedroom apartment shared with the live-in landlady. The apartment is huge and has a fully equipped kitchen, including a double-door refrigerator with ice dispenser. There is a balcony outside the huge living room and dining room, with stairs down to the apartment's private garden. The room on offer is not en-suite, but the bathroom will be for the sole use of the tenant as the landlady has her own private en-suite bathroom.
Monte Sacro is a quiet, residential neighbourhood, but even so, shopping and dining options can be found within a few minutes walk. There are several large parks nearby also, mostly within less than 5-minutes' walk. The nearest Metro station, which can take you quickly to the centre of the city is about 15 minutes' walk. There are also multiple bus routes operating from nearby streets.
What we liked the most
- We love the apartment in general! It's huge, you have use of your own private bathroom, and the property has a balcony and its own private garden! This apartment is fantastic!
- The area is quiet and residential, whilst having good access to the Sapienza University of Rome, perfect for those in the stressful final years of their Postgrad.
- The surrounding areas are full of parks, including the huge Riserva Naturale della Valle dell'Aniene, which runs along the banks of the river Aniene.
- The double-door refrigerator has an ice dispenser! Perfect for those hot evenings in the Italian midsummer!
