This property is a stylish 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment located on Via della Gensola in the popular Trastevere neighbourhood of Rome. With a mezzanine level bedroom with a double bed, this is an airy, contemporary space, with gorgeous original ceilings, and a cool staircase, halfway between modern and traditional. It includes a small, but fully-equipped kitchenette with an oven, and a comfortable living area.
In the heart of Trastavere, you'll be living in one of the most beautiful, and beloved areas of the city. Trastavere old-town is an area of ancient piazzas and narrow winding streets, with bars spilling their tables onto the pavements, and beautiful family-owned restaurants, where you can eat amazing home-cooked food.
What we liked the most
- The mezzanine level bedroom makes the apartment feel a lot larger.
- You'll have a full kitchen, which is quite a luxury in a studio apartment.
- Second from the river, and Isola Tiberina, you'll be able to walk across any number of nearby bridges to find yourself in the Centro Storico.
- Tiburtina is one of the most beloved areas of Rome with good reason. A short walk away, near the Basilica di Santa Maria are some of the most beautiful streets you'll ever see. And they're full of restaurants and bars. Time to relax, and watch the world go by...
