This spacious 1-bedroom apartment for rent on Via Umberto Puppini is on the 1st floor. It’s ideal for professionals or postgraduate students looking for a peaceful home outside of downtown. The front door leads into the living area, which has tile floors. It’s furnished with a 4-seat table, a sofa, and a bookcase. At the opposite end of the room are sliding doors that lead to a wonderful balcony overlooking the street. You also get balcony access from the large double bedroom and the fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has an additional table. The double bedroom has a large wardrobe. There is a tub in the bathroom, and the washing machine is on the balcony.
Roma Est is located, predictably, to the east of the city. This is where you want to be for quiet living away from the car horns and tourist traffic of downtown. Your new home is on the edge of Leonardo Sinisgalli Park. There is a grocery store a few minutes away. You aren’t isolated in this spot. The Centro Commerciale Roma Est mall is a 20-minute walk away. It has a UCI Cinema, brand name stores, fast food restaurants, and a large supermarket. And if you prefer to stick closer to home, there is a café, restaurant, and a couple of bars right on your street.
What we liked the most
- All main rooms have access to the balcony overlooking the street.
- There is free parking close by.
- The train is convenient. You can get downtown in less than an hour.
- The nearby park is a great spot for a stroll, picnic, or a game of frisbee.
