Spotahome's opinion

This 2-bedroom apartment for rent on Via Goffredo Mameli is tastefully ornate.There is a gorgeous wall-to-wall wardrobe filling the long entrance hall and, at the end, you’ll find the first bedroom, which has a window overlooking the quiet Via Santini. The second bedroom also faces the same peaceful street. This one has an en-suite bathroom, but there is another full bathroom just off the spacious, fully-equipped kitchen. The large combined dining and living room has an interior courtyard view, but gets ample natural light. It’s furnished with a comfy sofa, book shelves and a flat screen TV. There is also a 4-seat glass table in this space, and the kitchen has an additional table where you can eat more informal meals.

Trastevere is a fairly diverse neighborhood and if you love old churches, restaurants, and museums, you’re in the right place. All around your apartment are historical churches, convents, and buildings. However, when you’re feeling in the mood for an exciting night on the town, you can hit up any number of the wonderful Italian restaurants and then head to the Big Mama and listen to some live jazz and blues. For those nights when you prefer home cooking, you can pick up wine at the Les Vignerons store just down the street and grab your groceries at the 4 nearby supermarkets, located just a couple of minutes away.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is super spacious and has a wonderful relaxing atmosphere.
  • There is a wine store close by, and an ice-cream shop just next to it!
  • You are surrounded by restaurants with a wide range of cuisine, from Italian to Korean.
  • There are three parks close to the apartment, and the Tiber River is only a 10-minute walk away.
  • There is an additional room in the property which is bookable if needed.
