Whether you want this 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Via di Passo Lombardo for yourself or to share, it’s an ideal space. It also happens to be somewhat unique: unlike other apartments, this one opens into the bedroom, which has 2 single beds that you can easily fit together to form a large double bed. There is a French balcony in this room, as well as a long desk with two chairs where you can study. The bathroom is equally roomy, with a shower stall and a heating rack to dry your towels. In a second room, the one-wall kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, two gas burners, and cabinets, and it opens toward a 2-seat dining table and a comfy sofa with a small TV.
Located in Tor Vergata, you are near the University of Rome II. This is definitely the neighborhood and community where you want to be as a student. While this is a quiet residential part of Rome, it isn’t without points of interest beyond your studies, though, even outside of the wide range of events held within the complex itself. The nearby Cinecittá Studios is an exciting historical landmark—the largest film studio in Europe—so you may want to check it out. Closer to home, you can pick up new clothes, shoes, and other items in the Tor Vergata shopping mall. Closer still, within a 20-minute walk, there’s an archaeological museum, a media store, a copy shop, as well as a few small cafés and restaurants, including a pizzeria!
What we liked the most
- Perfect for 1 or 2 persons, the apartment is super spacious and includes two gas burners so you can cook up a storm!
- The complex is so amazing that you won't ever need to leave. Everything you can think of is at your disposal here: laundry facilities, a gym, a soccer field, a padel court, a gaming room with big-screen TVs, PS4 consoles and table games, 14 community study spaces, a restaurant, a supermarket, barbecue areas, and more.
- You can hop on a bus, take an 8-minute ride to the Tor Vergata Mall, and shop until you drop!
- If you’re a film fan, the nearby Cinecittà Studios—also known as "Hollywood on the Tiber"—will pique your interest and your imagination!
