If you really want to be in the thick of it, this incredibly breezy 2-bedroom apartment in Prati is perfect. The apartment itself is pretty ideal too. It has unique small-tiled floors with designs, reminiscent of houses in ancient Rome. There are huge windows throughout, which you can open up and let the sun shine in. Or, you can step out onto the balcony for a morning espresso. Everything feels roomy, and while there is a dining table in the living room, you can also enjoy a meal at the table in your fully-equipped kitchen.
What’s not to love about Prati? All around you are beautiful and elegant buildings, Vatican City is a mere 10 minutes west, and the Tiber River is another 7 minutes southeast. You are in the midst of a charming neighborhood here. It can be a little busy when events are happening at the Vatican, but with the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and other famous sights within a 10-minute metro ride, it’s still worth it. Shops and restaurants are also plentiful, and there is a grocery store right around the corner.
