This spacious 1-bedroom apartment is fabulously located in the quiet Nomentano neighbourhood. The apartment has two balconies to enjoy the views of this part of Rome. The large living room has patio doors to the balcony and a large window, making the space lovely and light. There's another balcony off the bedroom. This is the ideal location if you want to be in a beautiful residential district surrounded by parks with access to central Rome in less than 30 minutes.
The street is just off the main Via Nomentana where you can catch several buses. It's a beautiful green district of Rome surrounded by parks such as the vast Parco delle Valli, about 10 minutes from your door and the impressive Valle dell'Aniene nature reserve on the other side of the district, which is full of trees and has the River Aniene running through it - an ideal spot for a relaxing stroll or picnic. There's also a good choice of restaurants and grocery stores close to the apartment.
What we liked the most
- The parks and nature reserves are beautiful places to relax, sketch or take photos.
- This area has great public transport links.
- It takes about 25 minutes to get to the historic heart of Rome.
- Living by the riverside is divine.
Things to keep in mind
- The apartment is close to a busy thoroughfare.
- The kitchen is not equipped, so you'll need to do some shopping.
