This 1-bedroom apartment for rent is located in one of the most charming and authentic neighborhoods of Rome. In a traditional Roman building, you have modern amenities mixed with vintage-decor that create a cozy and comfortable home. The apartment has very high ceilings and large windows that provide a sense of space and plenty of sunlight. The bedroom is the biggest room, but you also have extra beds in the living room for guests or to be used as extra seating.
If you like small balconies, winding streets and little corner shops, then Trastevere is for you! You are on a small street, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood, but near the Tiber River and many shops and restaurants. You have multiple bus stops nearby, or can cross the river to head to the center.
What we liked the most
- The apartment maintains its old-world charm, but has modern amenities such as AC!
- There is a lot of natural light and the high ceilings provide a bigger sense of space.
- The living room comes with 2 single beds, which can be used for guests or turned into a couch.
- The bedroom is very spacious and has beautiful wooden frames.
- You are well-connected to the rest of the city by bus and tram services.
- If part of your mission is to delight in Italian cuisine, Trastevere is one of the best places to try authentic home-cooked food.
- John Cabot University is 2 minutes away.
Things to keep in mind
- The building does not come equipped with an elevator, but the apartment and its location are worth a bit of daily exercise.
- The kitchen does not have an oven, but it comes with a stove and all the utensils and cutlery you might need.
