Spotahome's opinion
This studio apartment to rent on Via Modena is located on the 1st floor. You’ll need to take the stairs to get there. This is an older building with no elevator. The bathroom is located to the left of the front door. It’s narrow, but long, and has a shower cabinet. In the entrance hall, you can hang your coat and take off your shoes before entering the open concept space. The apartment is cozy, but has some nice details like glass bricks and an exposed wood beam ceiling. You’ll need to climb a ladder to get to the bedroom, which is located in a mezzanine. The kitchen is fully equipped and the studio includes a washing machine. There is a small living room with a sofa where you can relax. And the 4-seat dining table is located in front of a glass door, which leads to the balcony overlooking the street.
Lambrate is north east of the downtown center, but it will only take you 24 minutes to get there on the Metro. The area has a city feel, but you also get ample green space living here. The entrance to the gorgeous Lambro Park is just 12 minutes away. If you’re looking for things to do, there is an art gallery just 2 minutes from your door. If you prefer to be more active, you can check out the sports complex 16 minutes away. There are a few nearby restaurants that you can enjoy, and although there are larger markets within a 10 minute walk, you can pick up groceries with a 3-minute walk to the East Market store. Students will be especially happy to note that Milan Polytechnic is only a 20-minute walk or 12-minute public transportation ride away.
What we liked the most
- You’ll need to climb a ladder to get to the mezzanine bedroom, but the apartment is a comfortable space with a lovely balcony with a street view.
- There are a few restaurants and a number of grocery stores nearby.
- You can reach the Milan Polytechnic University within 20 minutes on foot.
- One of the largest train stations is easy to access from your new home.
