Spotahome's opinion
Rooms to rent in an elegant building in the up-and-coming Bovisa neighbourhood. The elegant apartment has a long corridor leading to the rooms with a lovely, large ornate mirror to add to the sense of space. The kitchen leads to the balcony overlooking the courtyard. There's a comfortable armchair here so you can curl up with your book or tablet while preparing dinner. There's also a dining table where you can entertain friends or get to know your new flat-mates. The large bathroom, also overlooking the courtyard, has a large bath tub and shower.
The Bovisa district is home to the design, architecture and industrial engineering campus of Milan Polytechnic and has an arty vibe to it. Being a student district, you'll find a great choice of restaurants, bars and shops - a 5-minute walk takes you to the Carrefour supermarket too! The apartment is on a bustling main street lined with elegant buildings. It's surrounded by lovely squares with small shops plus the Nicolo Savarino park is a 13-minute walk to sit in the sun and watch the world go by. It's a lovely district with its own personality but still just 15 minutes to central Milan.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is on a main thoroughfare, so there's plenty to see and do.
- It's super easy to head to the pretty Nicolo Savarino park to enjoy a stroll and an ice-cream from the kiosk.
- There's a wide range of budget restaurants nearby.
- You're in the midst of an artistic community, and we love that vibe!
Things to keep in mind
- Bedroom 1 has bunk beds, with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top.
- Bedroom 2 is occupied long-term by a couple.
