This 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Via Modena is located on the 1st floor. The front door opens into a hallway with doors all around. Directly to the right is the bathroom. It’s a decently sized space with a window, modern sink and cabinets, as well as a shower stall. Both bedrooms are at the end of the hall and they are very large. One room has a double and single bed. The other has 2 single beds separated by a movable divider. The kitchen is the largest room in the house. It does triple duty serving as a food prep space, dining, and living room. It’s fully equipped, includes a dishwasher and has a comfy modern feel. The rest of the space is furnished with a 5-seat dining table, 2 armchairs, sofa, and 2 TVs. And the best part is that you have access to a street-side balcony with a table and chairs.
Sesto San Giovanni is an area rich with immigrants and industry. It’s located north of the city center, but you can easily get downtown in 25 to 30 minutes by public transportation. If you enjoy peace and quiet, you’ll adore this out-of-the-way neighborhood. There are no fewer than 6 parks and lovely green spaces nearby. Piazza Della Republica and Giardino degli Alpini are both just a 2-minute walk from home. If you prefer to get your exercise indoors, you can join the local gym. It’s just a minute down the street. Also within a couple minutes you can be at the town hall, buying fresh bread at the bakery, or getting a haircut at the local salon. Walk a bit further, and you’ll find a fruit and vegetable market and butcher. The grocery store is 5 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- The rooms are very spacious, the furniture is trendy, and there is a balcony.
- All around the apartment building, you’ll find gorgeous parks and green spaces.
- You are close to a number of spots to pick up grocery items, and there are a couple of cafés, bars and restaurants nearby when you don’t feel like cooking.
- There is a gym located just down the street.
