Spotahome's opinion
This 1-bedroom apartment to rent on Piazzale Damiano Chiesa is located on the 6th floor of a building that does have an elevator. There are closets at either end of the entrance hall where you can store items. The combined living and dining room is furnished with a sofa and 4-seat table and has a wonderful sunny little balcony where you can sit and relax. The fully-equipped kitchen is in its own space, and also gets ample light from another balcony. It’s long and spacious and is also furnished with a table. There is a modern bathroom with a shower stall, window and heated towel rack. At night you can retire into your comfortable bedroom. And if you work from home, there is a desk and chair here too!
This end of the Sempione neighborhood isn’t downtown, but you can easily get there on public transportation. The time it takes will depend on the route, but Metro line 5 gets you there in 15 minutes. If you’re a football fan, you can catch games at the nearby Vigorelli Velodrome. It’s only 5 minutes away. If not, the Orizzonte cinema is even closer, and you can catch a movie here. There are a few shops and restaurants around, but if you head across Corso Sempione, which is a 4-minute walk away, you’ll find dozens of spots to catch a bite to eat. If you prefer to cook at home, the Unes Maxi and the Coop supermarkets are a quick walk away.
What we liked the most
- There are two balconies to enjoy to sun or the stars.
- Guests can sleep comfortably on the sofa bed in the living room.
- Supermarkets are easy to access and there are a couple of them in walking distance.
- Although there are a couple of restaurants close by, a 4-minute walk will put you in touch with a lot more.
- You’re really close to the train and Metro.

- The double bed can be replaced with 2 single beds upon request.
