On Calle de Valencia, this 40 m² studio apartment available to rent is located in the heart of the Lavapiés neighborhood. From the interior entryway, you enter a sun-filled room with stylish decor and large doors that lead to a small balcony. There is a mezzanine floor, where you have a double bed, nightstand, and AC unit. On the main floor you have a dining area, kitchen corner, cozy living room, and the bathroom.
Lavapiés is one of Madrid's most diverse neighborhoods, full of people, food, and shops representing different backgrounds and lifestyles. If you want to be central but a bit removed from the tourist areas, this is a great choice. On Calle de Valencia, you are close to the Lavapiés Metro stop and a 10-minute walk to the Atocha area, where you can find plenty of museums and the Atocha train station.
What we liked the most
- Miguel, our Homechecker, loved the decor and location.
- The studio receives a lot of natural light.
- There is a built-in storage area with a ladder set up for easy access
- You are 1 minute away from the Lavapiés Metro stop.
Things to keep in mind
- The mezzanine floor has low ceilings, which may be uncomfortable for taller individuals.
