This 2nd floor studio apartment to rent on Via Teodoro Mommsen is a perfect place to call home. It’s not huge, but it’s roomy enough with contemporary furnishings. From the front door, you can almost see the entire open-concept living space. Of course, the bathroom is slightly separated and is divided into 2 areas: one with the toilet and shower and the other with the sink and washing machine. The bed is lofted and can be reached through a narrow stair. The one-wall kitchen is equipped and the rest of the space is furnished with a sofa bed, book shelf, a desk with a chair, and a large area underneath the lofted bed can be used as a closet.
Malasaña is a young and lively neighborhood in Madrid, which means there is always something exciting or entertaining happening at any given moment. If you enjoy theater, you’re truly in luck. The Barceló and Maravillas theaters are both within a 5-minute walk and with a few minutes more, you can be at the Siroco Concert Hall for a change of pace. Restaurants are plentiful in this part of town, and you’ll also find a Carrefour Express, as well as a Dia supermarket, just a couple of minutes down the street.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is well furnished and has a lofted double bed, as well as a sofa bed for guests.
- You are located in an energetic area, filled with theaters and concert venues.
- There are numerous restaurants nearby, including a vegan eatery.
- Grocery stores are easy to find.
