This 50 m² studio apartment available to rent in the Universidad area of Madrid provides a beautiful rustic decor carefully designed by the landlord. On the 5th floor you have slanted ceilings with wooden beams and hardwood flooring. The bedroom corner has a double bed, storage unit, and a built-in wardrobe. The kitchen area has a breakfast bar that looks into the living room with a cozy sofa and TV.
On Calle San Bernardino, this apartment is ideal if you are looking for a quiet and residential area within walking distance of basic amenities and nightlife options. Right outside your door you can find shops and plenty of restaurants, but if looking for bars or clubs you are a short walk from the Malasaña district. The Plaza de España metro stop is close by, making it easy to get around town.
What we liked the most
- The landlord put a lot of care and detail into the design!
- There is a good amount of storage space – necessary for a studio.
- The bathroom has beautiful tiling and is brand new.
- You are 10 minutes away from the Univerisdad Pontificia and right next to Plaza de España.
Things to keep in mind
- There is no oven, but there is an electric stove and microwave.
- There is a fee for Wi-Fi, but the landlord does not mind if the tenant wished to activate their own service.
