You will be leaping at the chance to rent this stylish studio apartment in the heart of La Latina, with amazing views across the rooftops of the city, taking in the beautiful towers of Iglesia San Andrés and in the distance the towering and magnificent Catedral de la Almudena. The apartment is very bright and spacious, and comes with everything you need to start your life in the city. The living room has sofas and a large flat-screen TV, along with a coffee table, and a dining table to seat 4. The kitchen has cutlery, pots, pans, plates and utensils, as well as a full-size fridge freezer, an oven and stove, a dishwasher and a coffee maker.There is also a pull-out divider to separate the kitchen from the bedroom to avoid odors. The bathroom has a large, modern shower.
You will be living in one of the oldest districts of Madrid, in fact the building is built on the remains of a 12th century church, the walls of which can still be seen in places. The modern La Latina is still one of the most vibrant and popular areas of the city, famous for its food and nightlife, and for the popular El Rastro Market, which runs every Sunday and public holiday. There are dozens of restaurants, bars, cafes, and tabernas within just a 2-3 minute walk of the apartment, and shops and grocery stores nearby also. Madrid's cathedral, palace, and central plazas are just a few minutes' walk, along with the vast Casa de Campo park. This really is the ideal apartment!
What we liked the most
- The views from the apartment are gorgeous.
- You will have a complete kitchen, including full sized fridge-freezer, oven, and dishwasher, which is rare in a studio.
- La Latina is one of the most popular districts of Madrid, and you will have hundreds of restaurants and bars to try in the local area.
- You'll be living extremely centrally in the city, with Plaza Mayor about a 5-minute walk, and Sol less than 10 minutes away.
Things to keep in mind
- The washing machine is located in the bathroom, although not shown in the photos.
