We love this spacious, 50m2 studio apartment that is available to rent in Madrid's buzzing Lavapiés. It is decorated in a contemporary style with mood lighting, and also retains some original features. The ample mezzanine sleeping area has a double bed. The compact kitchen is a good size for a studio, and there is a spacious living area and bathroom, as well as a separate laundry room.
You would be living in Lavapiés, a lively and authentic neighbourhood in central Madrid, within walking distance of the city centre. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, and Lavapiés and Antón Martín metro stations are nearby.
What we liked the most
- We love the decor; there is funky mood lighting and original features like wooden beams.
- The mezzanine sleeping area makes this apartment less like a studio and more like a 1-bedroom flat.
- Considering this is a studio, there is a lot of space.
- Lavapiés is a fun, popular and central area, and overall a great place to live.
