Spotahome's opinion
Living in Madrid can be pricey, but the rooms for rent in this centrally-located 6-bedroom apartment on Paseo Santa Maria de la Cabeza, near Atocha station, are a bargain! An economical space, the front door opens to a small vestibule with a mirror and console table, where you can throw your mail or keys. All the rooms are located along a long hallway with parquet flooring. There is Wi-Fi and heating throughout the apartment, and two full bathrooms to share, which is convenient. The naturally-lit kitchen, equipped with a fridge, stovetop, washing machine and small appliances, is sizeable and has a counter table with stools where you can eat and socialize.
Aside from the great price, this apartment has an amazing and convenient location. Atocha is a neighborhood in the middle of Madrid, and while you can walk to the city center within a half hour, the nearby metro will get you there in 10 minutes. There is plenty to explore in the capital city, but this part of town is known for some great restaurants and lively nightclubs. If dancing your way to dawn isn’t on your agenda, you can check out the more serene El Retiro Park, or walk from your apartment up the tree-lined Paseo del Prado and lose yourself to the works of Goya, Picasso and many other masters in the Golden Triangle of Art.
