This great residence hall has 765 seats in total, and has numerous facilities designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It is located on the campus of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, conveniently near all the faculties and sports facilities of the university. The residence opened in 2004 and is open all year round.

What we liked the most
- The residence hall offers a eception desk, open on Monday to Friday from 9 h to 19 h. There is always someone willing to help!
- Vending service. Food and beverage vending machines.
- The residence hall has ample study rooms and common areas for students to make friends, focus on their school work, and relax.
- There is a laundry room with washing machines and dryers.
- There is a common kitchen with ovens and microwaves where students can share meals with fellow hall mates.
- There is a luminous gym equipped with modern machines so students can stay fit!
- Every room has a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave, and storage space.

Getting around
Transportation
If you arrive by airplane (from the airport of Barajas): The first option is to get a taxi that will take you straight from the airport to the residence hall. The cost will be of approximately 30 euros. For those who cannot afford this, you can take the underground train from any airport Terminal, line 8, and go straight to the Nuevos Ministerios station (at the cost of 2 euros, including the airport supplement). Once there, you will have to take the train (line C4) to the Cantoblanco-Universidad station. To consult timetables and maps, see the following link in point 3 (by train).
By bus: there are several buses to the campus, including the 714 ( Plaza de Castilla-Cantoblanco ), 827 ( Canillejas-Alcobendas-Cantoblanco-Tres Cantos), 827A (San Sebastián de los Reyes-Alcobendas-Cantoblanco) and 828 ( Campo de las Naciones-Alcobendas-Cantoblanco). All of these buses stop in front of the Rectorate, which is the building in the central part of Kant Street. From there, the easiest choice is to go through Freud St and at the end of this, the last perpendicular street crossing it is Erasmo de Rótterdam St. If you turn right in this street, you will find the residence hall 100 metres away.
By train : there is a train station at the UAM Campus called Cantoblanco-Universidad, where the C4 line pass. The station is in the centre of Freud St, which means that, once you leave the station, you must turn left to that street and walk to the very end (the last perpendicular street), and if you turn right, you will find the residence hall 100 metres away.
