This two-bedroom, two-bathroom exterior apartment is located on the Plazuela de San Ginés right in the heart of Madrid, right next to the iconic Chocolatería de San Ginés. This apartment is perfect for those wanting to have the best of the touristic center within walking distance, including the Puerta del Sol (the true center of everything), the Teatro Real, Palacio Real, and Plaza Mayor. It’s also located right next to San Ginés, one of the most famous places to get classic churros and hot chocolate, meaning that you’ll have this delicious snack right at your doorstep 24 hours a day. It’s also next to Joy Eslava, a popular nightclub and music venue. The area of the apartment is 78 m2.
What we liked the most
- The apartment is a penthouse, with beautiful furniture and plenty of space for lounging and gives you a loft feel
- Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, perfect for the utmost privacy
- The apartment has A/C, ideal for hot, Madrid summers
- The kitchen has an electric stove, microwave, and all of the other essentials needed to cook, as well as a dishwasher
Things to keep in mind
- The washing machine is in one of the en-suite bathrooms (this is generally found in the kitchen in Spanish homes)
- One of the bedrooms has a hanging rack instead of a proper wardrobe
