This one-bedroom, one-bathroom exterior apartment is located on Calle de Atocha in the Huertas neighborhood of the center of Madrid. This studio is ideal for those looking to live in the true center of the city, being seven minutes from the Puerta del Sol, the geographic center of Madrid (and of Spain). Huertas, also known as El Barrio de las Letras, is known for its nightlife, numerous pedestrian streets, and excerpts from some of Spain’s most illustrious writers etched in the pavement. The area of the apartment is 30 m2.
What we liked the most
- The apartment comes with some extra amenities (shampoo and a hair dryer) in addition to having all utilities, a weekly cleaning service, and sheets and towels included
- You can use a common washer and dryer in the building, perfect for those not keen on laying their clothes out to dry on a rack
- The apartment has A/C, ideal for hot, Madrid summers
- There’s a balcony, perfect for taking in the energy of Huertas
