You have 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen, and 4 balconies. FOUR French balconies. You'll be swimming in a sea of sunshine :)
The furniture is vintage. The floorboards are stunning. There is no oven, but there is a microwave, and the kitchen is equipped. There is a huge wardrobe for your clothes. AC in the living room will save your life in summer.
You are living on the edge here:
The edge of where Lavapiés meets the city center. Lucky you. The Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, Callao cinemas, the terrazas, the long nights, the golden dawns, they are just over there, round the corner, waiting for you.
What we liked the most
- It's a very bright, sunny place that makes the most of it's 4 French balconies.
- AC in the living room – you'll be grateful in August.
- The full-height wooden shutters, wooden door linings, and wooden floorboards give the place an old-fashioned, natural vibe.
- It seemed like a pretty quiet street when we visited.
- Wherever you want to go in Madrid, it's easy when you live here.
- We love this apartment. 'Nuff said.
Things to keep in mind
- There is no lift in the building. That's pretty normal for Madrid city center though.
