The first thing that will strike you about this 4th floor 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Calle Acuerdo are the sloped ceilings with skylights. Being an attic apartment with awkward angles and nooks certainly poses challenges, but the designer really steps up to the plate here. You’ll enter into an open-concept space and right into the fully equipped L-shaped kitchen, which has a 4-seat table. Just to the left of the door is a cozily-furnished nook where you can take a nap, or read a book. Past the dining area is a more formal living space with more suitable furnishings for entertaining. One of the bedrooms is located on this floor, while the other is up a set of stairs. Both rooms are wonderfully decorated and have their own en-suite bathrooms.
Malasaña is a bustling neighborhood with bars, restaurants, cinemas, theaters and museums. There are even a few music venues including the Siroco Concert Hall just a 2-minute walk away. If you enjoy green space and a bit of quiet, you can just take a 7-minute stroll to the grounds of Palacio de Liria, or add another 7 minutes and you can be in the midst of the sprawling Oeste Park. You’ll find any number of shop and banks to take care of your daily needs, and you can grab some fresh fruit and vegetables at the fruteria at the end of your street.
