Spotahome's opinion
This 2-bedroom apartment to rent on Calle Ponzano is very spacious. The vestibule at the entrance has a lovely vintage buffet where you can put your keys or mail, and it leads to an enclosed and fully equipped kitchen to the left and the open-plan dining and living room directly in front. In the center of this room is a wonderful chandelier. There is a window to the interior patio, but the lighting in the space is excellent, although with a cozy sofa and rocking chair, you might be in danger of falling asleep while watching TV. The two bedrooms are amazing, and the bathroom, with a bathtub and separate shower stall, is huge. All around, it’s a roomy and fabulous space.
There is nothing you can find in downtown Madrid that you won’t find living in Rios Rosas. Everything convenience and necessity it at your fingertips in you neighborhood. There are at least three art museums just a 15-minute walk from your door, and the National Music Auditorium, which features classical music halls, is only a 7-minute taxi ride away. More immediately, your apartment is surrounded by restaurants serving up traditional Castilian fare, tapas, and even Chinese food. And for a night out you can be watching a movie at Cines Verde within 10 minutes or taking in a show at Teatro Amaya within 8 minutes.
What we liked the most
- The interior apartment is quiet, which is great, but most importantly, it’s truly a very big living space.
- The metro and buses are easily accessible with a short walk.
- You’re surrounded by a diverse range of restaurants and tapas bars.
- Cinemas, theaters and museums are close by, so there is always something to do.
