An elegant, 80m2, 2-bedroom apartment is available to rent in the coveted Vieux-Lyon neighbourhood. The interior of this spacious property has plenty of character, complete with wooden beams, fireplaces and a mezzanine floor. The apartment has a large dining room which has an antique table that dates back from Henry IV's era! The kitchen is partially equipped with modern appliances but many facilities belong to the current tenants.

This property is situated in the heart of Vieux Lyon, Europe's 2nd largest Renaissance neighbourhood after Venice. Not only is this area filled with pedestrian-only cobbled streets, but Vieux Lyon features a plethora of interesting bars, cafés and world-famous restaurants. This neighbourhood is so central that tenants can walk to many places in the city, and Vieux Lyon metro station is just 8 minutes away.

What we liked the most

  • This area is filled with plenty of places to drink, dine and socialise.
  • Tenants can spend hours exploring the winding cobbled streets of the historic Vieux Lyon.
  • The interior of the property is decorated with antique furniture, wooden beams, high ceilings and decorative fireplaces.
  • Most places in central Lyon are accessible on foot.

Things to keep in mind

  • Much of the furniture in the video belongs to the current tenants, and will therefore be removed upon their departure.
  • This property is situated on the 4th floor of a building which does not have an elevator.
