Spotahome's opinion
This modern, split-level studio flat on Penywern Road, in Earl's Court, has all the amenities you may require in one compact little package. The open-concept living, dining and kitchen area make the most out of the limited space, with lots of natural light pouring in from the large French doors that open to a small but sunny balcony overlooking the street. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a two-burner stovetop, oven, microwave and a small fridge. There is also a shared laundry room on site, with washer and dryer. As for the sleeping space, it is cleverly tucked away up on a mezzanine above the living room area. Don’t worry, though: there’s more than enough head space.
The Victorian-style building is located in the heart of the Earl’s Court district of Kensington and Chelsea, a stone throw’s away from the former site of the renowned Exhibition Centre. No more than 10 minutes away from Kensington High Street, you’ll be spoiled for choice when you decide to do some shopping. Imperial College London and the Royal Colleges of Art and Music are at the distance of a 20-minute walk. And if your blood runs blue, Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC, is just a hop away!
What we liked the most
- That balcony is the crown jewel of this flat.
- There's something very comforting about the buildings lining Penywern Road.
- You couldn't ask for a better location than this: a quiet residential area, with each access to public transportation and plenty of pubs and shops nearby. It's the best of all worlds!
- There are so many gardens and parks around that you might forget you're in the middle of West London!
