This bright 5-bedroom house with rooms to rent on Percy Road is on a quiet residential street. It’s a two-floor house with one shared bathroom and a toilet. The only common area is the kitchen. It isn't fully-equipped, so you’ll need to provide your own dishes and cookware. It’s a galley kitchen with a sunny door that leads to a backyard garden. The kitchen has all the major appliances you need, and includes a washing machine. The back garden isn’t furnished, but it’s grassy and you could make it a good spot to relax or socialise.
Your new home in Newham is only a 25-minute DRL ride from the University of East London Docklands Campus. You’re also a 30-minute ride from the city centre, and if you’re a student, this means you really aren’t far from most schools. For entertainment, you can head to the nearby O2. It’s a 15-minute walk away and there are tons of bars and activities there. When you feel like a bit of peace and quiet, the Star Lane Park is a few minutes away. There are grocery stores and a few bars and restaurants located a couple of blocks from home, too.
What we liked the most
- There is a washing machine in the kitchen and a grassy backyard garden.
- You’re in a quiet area that’s close to two parks.
- The O2 is a 15-minute walk away from your new home.
- You’re only a half-hour Metro ride from downtown London.
