Spotahome's opinion
This 3-bedroom flat with rooms to rent on Siemens Brothers Way is on the 13th floor. The flat has a long, pristine hallway with tile floors. There is a washing machine in the hallway storage closet and a space for your shoes at the entrance. The bathroom is very big and modern, and it has a tub with a shower hose. There is a 4-seat table in the dining room. The kitchen is the only other shared space. It’s very large, has plenty of cupboards, and a lot of counter top space to prepare your meals. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. The room gets tons of light from the large window.
Beckton is an east London neighbourhood along the Royal Victoria Docks. It’s a very serene neighbourhood, full of families and retirees. However, you won’t have a dull moment living here. There are a number of cafés, restaurants, and cocktail lounges nearby. There is a Tesco Express and another convenience store around the corner. You’ll have to travel a bit farther for larger supermarkets. During the summer, you can take a dip in the water at London Royal Docks Open Water Swimming. You can also stay fit at the Peacock Gymnasium. It’s 5 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- The kitchen is huge and bright, and there is a dining room where you can eat and socialise.
- The common area has a wonderful view over Royal Victoria Docks.
- University of East London is a 20-minute ride away on the DLR.
- The Emirates Air Line cable car can get you to the O2 across the river in 15 minutes.
