Spotahome's opinion

There are rooms to rent in this modern 5-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment on Spey Street in Tower Hamlets. The kitchen comes with everything you need to cook including plenty of bench space and an oven. There is a shower over bath in the bathroom, and the toilet is separate for added convenience.

Langdon Park and Jolly's Green are both nearby so if you like exercising outside you've got plenty of space to go for a run. Limehouse Cut is also within a 15-minute walk and is a great place to explore. If you do need to commute to the centre of London, you can get there in around half-an hour by bus or Underground.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is close to public transport so it's easy to get around London.
  • There is a balcony which can be accessed from the kitchen and is a great place to enjoy the weather when it's good.
  • The floor in the kitchen is tiled, and there is beautiful hardwood flooring throughout the rest of the apartment.
  • There is heating to keep you warm in the colder months.
  • The Chrisp Street Market is within a 10-minute walk, which is great if you're looking for a bargain.

Things to keep in mind

  • This is a 3rd floor apartment without an elevator.
  • Although there is a washing machine, there is no dryer so clothes will need to be hung up to dry.
