There are rooms to rent in this renovated 5-bedroom, 1-bathroom house on Cottage Street in Tower Hamlets. On the ground floor you will find the kitchen, which has plenty of bench and cupboard space as well as a bar with chairs so you can sit down with your flatmates. The bathroom has a shower over bath, and is located upstairs.
If you're looking for a bargain, Billingsgate Market is within a 20-minute walk and the Chrisp Street Market is much closer. If you're looking for something to do on your day off, you won't need to go far - the Ice Rink on Canary Wharf is only a 15-minute walk away, while the Mudchute Park and Farm is within 15-minutes by bus.
What we liked the most
- The house is close to public transport, so you can get around London easily.
- There is an additional toilet downstairs for added convenience.
- The kitchen comes with everything you need to cook including plates and pots.
- There is central heating to keep you warm in the colder months.
- You can get to the centre of London in around an hour using the Underground if you need to commute.
Things to keep in mind
- There is only one shared bathroom.
- Although there is a washing machine, there is no dryer so clothes will need to be hung up to dry.
