Spotahome's opinion
This 5-bedroom flat with rooms to rent on Vansittart Road has two floors. After walking through the front door, you’ll find the spacious and fully-equipped kitchen to the left. There is ample cupboard space to store food items, and plenty of counter space, too. The kitchen has a washing machine and is furnished with a dining table and chairs. This is the only common area in the flat, aside from the two shared bathrooms. The first bathroom is to the right of the door. It’s a bit of a tight space, but it does have a toilet and a shower stall. The larger bathroom is upstairs and it has a tub.
Southwark is a fashionable area with some great old pubs. You can enjoy a number of city landmarks in this neighborhood. Tower Bridge and the Thames are a half-hour walk away. The Bermondsey Lion is close to your new home, and Southwark Park is a 5-minute walk away. There is quite a bit to do nearby. Within 10 minutes, you’ll find karting, a climbing wall, escape games and a PureGym fitness center. If you’re more artistic, you’ll enjoy a number of small art studios and non-for-profit galleries. St James Supermarket is less than 10 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- The location is convenient and the shared kitchen is spacious.
- In addition to sporting activities and art galleries, there are a few small music and theater venues nearby.
- There are a few pubs and eateries close to Shuttleworth Park. It’s 5 minutes away.
- You’re only a 20-minute bus ride from the Thames and a 25-minute tube ride from the City of London.
