There isn’t an elevator to get up to the rooms to rent in this 3-bedroom apartment on Endlesham Road, but that's OK. Fortunately, it’s only on the first floor! There is a funky shared bathroom immediately to your left when you open the front door, and an L-shaped hall with a storage closet beside the bathroom. Around the corner you’ll find the kitchen, which is the only other shared space. Again, it’s kind of cool with black and white tiles all around. It’s a decent-sized space and it's fully equipped. There isn’t a window in the room, so it’s a bit dark. However, there is a washing machine, which is a definite plus!
Wandsworth is located in southwest London, and your flat is a 25-minute train ride from the city center. You might not get the liveliness of downtown living, but that doesn’t mean the area lacks excitement. In fact, The Bedford Community Pub, which has live music and comedy, is only 10 minutes away, and there are a couple of restaurants and other pubs around the corner. If you enjoy yoga, you can check out the local center which is a few minutes up the street. When you’re looking to whip up a meal, you can pick up groceries at the Waitrose, a British goods grocery store, just 8 minutes away.
What we liked the most
- The black and white tiles in the bathroom and kitchen give the flat a cool vibe.
- If you like to jog, or simply enjoy the park, there are three of them surrounding your flat.
- Although there are pubs and restaurants around the corner, there are a lot more of them located closer to the grocery store, which is an 8-minute walk.
- The Bedford, a famous and historical live music and comedy pub, is only a few minutes from your door!
