Spotahome's opinion

The rooms to rent in this 7-bedroom 2-storey house on Birchen Grove will suit tenants who enjoy a quiet neighborhood. The front door opens to a carpeted hallway and a staircase that leads upstairs to a shared bathroom with a tub. In front of the door is the fully-equipped kitchen and a dining room, which is furnished with a large fridge and a dining table. The kitchen has ample counter and cupboard space and an additional half-sized fridge. There is also another door, which leads to the back patio, where there are chairs, laundry racks, storage space, and a room with a washing machine and toilet. You also get access to a large backyard, where you can relax and soak in the sun.

Neasden is a 45-minute train ride from the center of London, but it’s a nice quiet area close to the Brent Reservoir and Neasden Recreation Ground, which is a 20-minute walk away. Of course, these aren’t the only natural public-access spaces, but they’re the closest ones. The Asda Wembley Superstore is also less than 20 minutes away and not far from the Wembley Park station. However, shopping at the food and wine store or at Lidl, just 7 minutes away, is ultimately more convenient. Also close by are 2 cafés and a pub, where you can enjoy a pint with friends.

What we liked the most

  • Access to a washing machine and drying racks are convenient, but having a large green lawn in the backyard is great!
  • There are a lot of parks in the area, where you can take a stroll, jog or have a picnic.
  • You can pick groceries up when you’re near the underground station, but a Lidl supermarket is just 7 minutes from your door.
  • The house is so close to the reservoir that you can practically taste the water! Okay, not that close, but it’s a nice spot with a good view.
